Pro UPRT AG

The Pro UPRT AG course is specifically designed for the unique upset risks faced by agricultural pilots. Low-altitude operations, heavy maneuvering, and demanding work environments create specific upset scenarios that require targeted training. This course addresses those risks directly.

COURSE DETAILS:

  • Ground Training: 6 hours

  • Flight Training: 6 flights minimum

  • Aircraft: EFIS-equipped Extra 300L

  • Location: Plantation Airpark (KJYL), Sylvania, GA

  • Official Extra Aircraft USA UPRT Provider

WHAT YOU WILL COVER:

All ground training lessons focus on the Mentality of Safety including Aeronautical Decision Making (ADM), Crew Resource Management (CRM), and Threat and Error Management (TEM), combined with Advanced Aerodynamics specific to upset scenarios.

Each ground lesson is paired with a corresponding flight lesson in which a specific set of Advanced Handling Maneuvers are performed. These maneuvers reinforce the ground training and suppress Startle Effect — the normal adverse psychological reaction to an unexpected upset.

Pilots build g-tolerance and advanced aircraft handling skills at their own pace. When prepared, each pilot demonstrates confident upset recognition, prevention, and recovery both visually and by reference to instruments.

This course meets ICAO Doc. 10011 and FAA Order 120-111 training standards. UPRT USA is a UPRTN accredited member.
