Flight Training: Minimum 5 flights (3 flight hours minimum)
Aircraft: EFIS-equipped Extra 300L
Location: Plantation Airpark (KJYL), Sylvania, GA
What You Will Cover
All ground training lessons focus on the Mentality of Safety including Aeronautical Decision Making (ADM), Crew Resource Management (CRM), and Threat and Error Management (TEM), combined with Advanced Aerodynamics specific to upset scenarios.
Each ground lesson is paired with a corresponding flight lesson in which a specific set of Advanced Handling Maneuvers are performed. These maneuvers reinforce the ground training and suppress Startle Effect — the normal adverse psychological reaction to an unexpected upset.
Regulatory Compliance
This course meets and exceeds the training requirements of EASA FCL.745.A. UPRT USA training is also compliant with ICAO Doc. 10011 and FAA Order 120-111.
